Important milestones are marked by the anniversary "Geographical Dictation - 2024". Libraries, museums, educational institutions, and other organisations both domestically and internationally are increasingly registering as dictation sites. The "Tekstilshchiki" Moscow Longevity Centre marks the 5,000th registered location.

Special gifts have been arranged by the organisers for the locations that were registered as the first, 1,000th, 5,000th, and 10,000th in the anniversary year. Additionally, a flag of the anniversary Dictation will be given to each of them.

More than 5,000 distinct sites are now available to participants to write the dictation. Geography and history will blend together at the "Smolensk History" state museum. The Altai Republic's Association of Guides-Instructors and Tour Guides extends an invitation to the public to complete the "Geographical Dictation" on its website. The Arctic will be more accessible to those who enjoy geography thanks to the Visitor Centre "Arctic Embassy" (Arkhangelsk Region). At the church family cultural and educational centre, parishioners of the Alexander Nevsky Church (Rostov Region) will have an opportunity to answer give the dictation questions.

Organisations are invited to participate in the "Geographical Dictation - 2024" event. Registration will be open till November 8.

We remind participants that a demo version is available. In 45 minutes, respond to 40 questions and get ready for the major dictation version. Be sure to train yourself before November 15 at 12:00.

The Geographical Dictation 2024 is open to all geography enthusiasts! Geographic dictation will be held at 12:00 local time on November 16 and 17.
